ASB - Poetry
This poem is about finding myself.
Anger, rage, flaming hate
it burns through my veins
taking me into the black
gates of hell; Destroying me
leaving me as a shell.
Love, affection, passion
it sings through my arteries
taking me in the golden
gates of heaven; Building me.
leaving me as a soul
How should I feel?
What should I be?
Good? bad? Neutral?
Which one is me?...
The true me.

Yeah, I agree with the message conveyed through this write (what I get that is). I wrote a similar poem, it's titled Journey. I really do think that we were born to find ourselves. We are all lost, and waiting for someone to guide us somewhere which looks familiar and that we can find our way around. Sort of clearing hazes for us.
The last stanza is my favorite. It rings SO true indeed!
'Which one is me?.../ the real me' I love this the most.
Keep writing (:

Forbidden
Meeting as the clock strikes 12
Smiles as the moon lights our path.
Our arms laced around each other
heads on each others shoulders.
You whisper that forbidden sentence.
"I love you, dear."
We kiss in the moonlight
we hug in the hidden shade of a tree.
As the sun starts to rise,
we say our goodbyes.
Forbidden love tales.
