Trying to do the right thing
Almost got killed being the heroine.
How do I make things right
With all the ones I love?
I hurt them by doing this
Crazy, hair-brained scheme
To save us all from being hunted
By the new hybrid race coming for me
And the ones I love the most.

I feel so lost.
So far and distant
From everyone I love.
My mark to my vampyre
disappeared.
I care for him deeply,
But do I love him enough
To remark him?
I love my panther mate.
I love him more than the other.
And have for a while.
I dunno how to tell the other
I don't want to remark him...

Passion unfolds
Throughout the centuries,
Within our past lives.
Lover, Friend, Warrior.
Two warriors.
Similar stories.
My love for the one
Will be my demise.
His mate doesn't know,
Doesn't know a lot
About us.
My mate
Doesn't know about
Me and my warrior...
Either Warrior.
Let my death be swift
And fast upon me.

Shock fills me as I'm told the results.
How is it I never thought nor even considered
That He could be the father.
I knew that I had been with him and his brother
during the time I conceived.
Why didn't I know it wasn't my mate's?
My mate knew, and never said a word...

How does a man betrothed
Have the audacity to ask
If I love my mate
Then flat out say I'm lying to him?
I shift and run.
I go to what once and still is
My happy place at the camp.
I run and feel as free as the wind
blowing all around me.
Helping me to wash away
my thoughts and sadness
Of the vision I saw
He was with her
And not me.

A foolish move
On behalf of a member
Gets me banned sooner
Than expected
From the old site.
The badge I held
Moved to the new leader
Along with my poem and another's
With that Badge.

Sleeping with the Cubmaster.
He tells me this on a day
That's supposed to be
All about fun!
His guilty heart
couldn't keep it from me
Any longer.

At times I wish
You still Had a Cell phone.
My heart is burdened
Of my Betrayal
To my Mate.
How do I go about
Making things right to him?
I need to talk to you
But you aren't online.
I need your shoulder To lean on
and yous strength To help me through
this difficult time

Confessions about what happened
Aired out for us to work through.
With questions and answers
We Talk.
No more Anger.
No more Tears.
Just flashes of my previous marriage
When it fell apart.
Him wanting his Mistress
Over his family...
At least this time
This one stayed with me.

The draw of him is strong
I feel the iciness of his hands upon my body
He pulls me in
Closer and closer.
The closer i get to him,
The more everyone else just disappears.
He uses things that I love
to lure me into his arms.
he makes me feel
Odd yet loved
Isolated and empty
weak yet strong with the will to live
for my family and friends.
he uses things that I like and love
To pull me more towards him.
To keep me away from my warriors
and my love...
If not for all the cuts and blood
my death would have been my end
had it not been for my warriors pulling me thru.

Review to 'complications'.

I love the 3rd stanza. Because I know the theme of this poem, so I can't say it relates to me that well. However, this specific stanza does relate to me a lot.

'Fear of past rejection.' precisely like what I am. I am afraid to know, afraid to say, afraid to show, afraid to fail.

I think this is a good write.

Unfinished Poem...

(((started writing it and never could bring myself to finish it. figured I'd post it so I wouldn't lose it.)))

How do I go about telling the truth
Yet keep a lie about something so special?
I have to have them in my lives.
By technicality I've had the one
Since we first met.
Our mark from the past came back
Making us even stronger than before.
The surprise of my mate
Proposing to me
Knocked me for a loop.
Totally not expected.
Unsure what to do.

Memories Forgotten, Lost in time.
Memories of my past, Long ago.
Memories slowly trickle back to me in pieces.
Nothing concrete to tell me who I am or what I was.
Images of family slowly come back to me
Getting sorted to know who is who.
Many people hate me.
It's not my fault I lost all my memories.
They say I used to be sweet and kind.
Now in a round about way I'm told I'm a B!t(h.
Remembering the ones that mean the most to you,
No matter how good or bad,
Is the best memory of all...

No love to be found.
Don't want the one
I've been set up with.
He freaks me out.
In love with 2 people
I'll never be close to again.
One is married.
The other engaged.
I'm destined to be
Alone.
